Who are we?

Alicia Miller  runs Troed y Rhiw Organics, an organic horticulture farm in West Wales, with her husband, Nathan Richards. She is also the web editor at the Sustainable Food Trust. Born in the United States, she graduated with distinction from Stanford University and has an MA in the history of photography from the University of New Mexico. She worked for many years in the contemporary visual arts, working closely with artists as a curator, gallery educator and art critic.

Corinne Cariad Based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, Corinne is passionate about local community-led projects and has a particular interest in food systems. When working for Transition Bro Gwaun she championed surplus food use and reducing food waste at the surplus food cafe, set up a community fridge and ran the Make a Meal of It project. Corinne currently works as Member Coordinator for Global Environments Network.

Jane Powell is a freelance education consultant and writer based near Aberystwyth. She previously worked for Organic Centre Wales and LEAF Education. She is a volunteer coordinator with Penglais Community Garden, a coordinator with Renew Wales and writes at www.foodsociety.wales

 

steven JacobsSteven Jacobs is the Business Development manager at Organic Farmers and Growers. He chairs the Welsh Grain Forum  and  is on the steering committee for the Wales Real Food and Farming Conference.
